On safari earlier this year, we stumbled upon two lionesses with eight cubs, yes eight! The cubs were scattered all around but the Moms were keeping an eye on each and every one of them making sure we didn't get too close. Then one lioness grunted and all the cubs came running. Each one rubbing their face on hers and then doing the same to their siblings. Another day in South Africa…
Ostriches are the biggest birds in the world and can grow up to 9 feet (2.7 meters) tall and can weigh up to 320 lbs. (145 kilograms)
During our game drive with andBeyondSafari Not only were we lucky to see a Cheetah but one that had a fresh kill. Visibly nervous, the Cheetah ate very quickly before getting chased off by two jackels and aroud thirty vultures.
